Pursuant to Hawaiʻi County Code Chapter 4, dogs and puppies must wear a current County of Hawaiʻi Dog License tag. Dog licensing is being managed by the County Finance Department, Vehicle Registration and Licensing Division. Dog license fees are $2.10 for sterilized dogs and $6.10 for unsterilized, and a sterilization certificate is required to be submitted with the application.
