Daniel Volpe serves as the Temporary Fire Chief of the Hawaiʻi Fire Department, with over 20 years of service in the Hawaii Fire Department in roles including Firefighter, Fire Medical Specialist, Battalion Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, and currently, Temporary Fire Chief.

A 23-year resident of Hawaiʻi County, Chief Volpe relocated from the “9th Island” of Las Vegas in 2003 and is a 2000 graduate of UNLV.
