Provides for maximum community development opportunities through the use of funds from the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other appropriate grants and programs.

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program:

The Federal CDBG Program provides annual grants on a formula basis to states, cities, and counties to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons.

HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME):

The Federal HOME Program provides formula grants to states and localities that communities use - often in partnership with local nonprofit groups - to fund a wide range of activities including building, buying, and/or rehabilitating affordable housing for rent or homeownership or providing direct rental assistance to low-income people.

Housing Trust Fund (HTF) Program:

The Federal HTF Program provide funds for construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of rental homes and for home ownership for extremely low- and very low-income families.
