Address increasing caseloads by focusing on improving efficiency and effectiveness of the system by collaborating with Police, Courts, and Public Safety
Provide training for prosecutors and police
Keep abreast of emerging strategies and innovative approaches to solving crime problems
Implement technological solutions to improve efficiency & effectiveness
Work collaboratively with law enforcement and criminal justice agencies to identify and address issues
Participate in statewide initiatives:
- Pilot for HIP project to interface data from Police “Green Box” to Prosecutor’s HITS, Public Safety’s system and Judiciary’s JIMS
- Pilot site for electronic written complaint generation
Obtain outside funding to grow capacity of criminal justice system
Provide training for police, prosecutor’s and criminal justice system partners
