Description: The Engineering Division is responsible for the management and enforcement of Hawaii County Code, Chapter 22 – County Streets.  There are several types of permits that are covered in Chapter 22, as described below.  The most common type of permit is a Permit to Work with the County Right-of-Way, specifically for the construction of a new driveway approach.
